Investing Directly in Educators

Oklahoma Central Foundation supports students, educators, and community partners through education, financial literacy, and community-focused programs.

10 Teachers 10 Days is one way the Foundation invests directly in educators. Each selected teacher will receive $1,000 to use for classroom needs, student resources, or a project that benefits their students.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination! We are now reviewing all nominations and choosing 10 outstanding teachers to be recognized.

Nominations Closed

Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate an incredible teacher! Community members submitted more than 170 nominations representing more than 150 teachers.

Step 2

We select ten

Employee review committees consider classroom need, the proposed use of funds, student benefit and the number of students who will be served. Ten teachers will be selected to receive $1,000 each.

Step 3

We celebrate, one by one

The selected teachers will be announced October 19, followed by 10 days of teacher stories beginning October 26.

Thank You for Recognizing Oklahoma Teachers

Every nomination described an educator making a difference for students. The stories also showed how much good work is happening in classrooms across Oklahoma, and how much support teachers continue to need. 

Follow along beginning October 26 as we recognize one selected teacher each day for 10 days.
